A development board for STMicroelectronics' new VL53L9CX 3D time-of-flight sensor.
The VL53L9CX provides 54 × 42 depth zones, ranging from under 5 cm to 8.8 m, with frame rates up to 100 Hz.
The board provides MIPI CSI-2, I3C and I2C, with connections for interrupt, XSHUT, synchronisation and an external application clock. No processor onboard — pair it with an STM32N6, Raspberry Pi, ESP32-P4 or any other host.
The hardware and supporting software will be open source — a fully open breakout / evaluation kit for the VL53L9CX.
